No. It depends on the cerebellar quotient.
Low CQ (large cerebral cortex/tiny cerebellum = good at rote learning.
High CQ = good at intuition.
Low CQ people need to rely on memorizing and prracticed, honed skills.
High CQ people can rely on intuition, self realization, figuring things out.

Not really, the mould actually needs to get to the edge to grasp it was a dead end to develop, you would be able to say in a fraction of time where it should develop and which directions are a waste of energy and resources.
