I've seen a few very dumb Anons suggest that infinite sequences do not "approach" a limit or "move towards"- as if infinity is a static number.

When posed with infinity, it will NEVER stop. Infinity is non-terminating, and thusly it is only useful to consider the direction and proportional change with respect to time.
