I just browsed through all the pages in the book "make it stick" and read the chapter takeaways. I didn't learn anything new from what you can learn in one hour on just searching the web for effecient study methods. I feel that the book is more style over substance. It bring up stories from people and vague examples but it doesn't show how to apply the methods. Maybe I am just too unintelligent to apply the methods after reading stories about neurosurgeons, pilots, coaches etc.
Could anyone here tell me what to do when I open a book that I browsed through and know what in contains? What to I do when it is time to learn? What do you do, show practical examples. How to I learn math and physics?
