if you look at your genome you will see a complete disaster with most of it being junk dna , not only that but with transposable elements that change position in your genome even considering that they are not randomly distributed in the genome , they most of the time produce dangerous mutations and it's only mitigated because natural selection exist.
this is not a "completely inevitable result" but one of many, your whole genome has many copies of the same gene that not perform any task and it still doing something because one of those many copies is a perfect copy .. this is not a mechanism to continue your existence or the human existence but an indirect result of DNA coping and it's likely that in the future only mutant copies will perform translation.
the activities of these master copies varies depending on the individual , tumor type and timeframe of the clonal evolution of tumors..they're not there for a reason but just an indirect result.
and we're not even talking about ERVs (Endogenous Retroviruses) that are 6% of our DNA..
the universe is not fine tuned to produce humans in some way or another , when you consider neutral mutation and genetic drift.
your existence is an indirect result of Natural selection (non random) , genetic drift (random), random conditions as global extinctions , mutation and population genetics (random).
and none of them were there for a reason to produce humans none of them.. you're just here because cell division exist and it's imperfect .. another animal would have taken your place and nothing would be different.
