I was fortunete to grow up in a well off family and and I was always able to afford whatever I wanted. Even so I still suffered from depression and other mental illniesss. Most jobs in corperate emvironments are incredibly soul sucking and if tomorrow nobody was getting paid like 1% of people would still show up; even in "good" jobs. I enjoy pursuing math and even though I am not getting paid "big bucks" I actually can enjoy what I am doing.
