I learned to program a while ago but basically never use anything beyond the toolchains required to build other programs. I wrote a PNG optimizer, which to my knowledge produces the smallest output of any in existence, but I haven't gone back to finish it properly. Very frustrating. My entire life is a series of hard lines, unifinished projects, unrealized ideas, and loose ends. Basically a failure tb-qh. I am the failed concept.

I'm pretty good at python, I think I've solved around 100 exercises at hackerrank, but it's not like I can "produce" anything.

I'll try to learn the languages the faggots at the stock market use so they can automatize their "daytrade bots" and see if I can make some bucks out of it.

My main project right now is reading Gruntz's thesis to implement his limit algorithm.

Yesterday I made a homebrew calculator (for determining initial water levels, target gravity, etc), and when I have a free day later this week I'm going to rewrite it in JS (it's in Emacs Lisp right now, I'd like to push it onto Melpa when it's done) and run it over my local network so I can access it from any device's browser when brewing at home.

Yeah, right now im writing a light weight nataural languge interpreter for IoT systems. So you can control them trough speech from your phone.

In my main job i write many noise fitlers and self correcting control systems.

Currently learning embedded C for a career start (industry in Austria is strong).

You can't really call yourself a scientist if you can't program these days. Always get a chuckle when people going to university (even at a grad level) ask if they should learn programming in this day and age. If you weren't introduced to it in your first year, you're attending a shit institution.

If you just make it remember technical analysis stats and try to find crosses from a lot happening normal situation patterns you just see from technical analysis that it's time to sell or buy...

Are you doing crypto or can you recommend any broker that has order book available?
