Only way to prove that Grandma hypothesis is real is to figure out which came first: menopause or long life.
As far as monkeys, rodents, dogs, etc goes, if you cannot breed, you die.
Did we figure out how to live past menopause or we live long reproductive lives but it was deemed unfavorable to have old folks that can still breed?
Was it really beneficial to have a person that cannot breed but support others? If so, why is it still uncommon among mammals?
