>>11608482There's a distinct chance that all you've ever had is over-cooked brassicae. The only valid cooking method is to lightly steam brassica. Any method where higher heat or extended cooking times will cause bitter and sulfur compounds to develop which are fucking horrible. I suggest lightly steaming some broccoli, cauliflower, and red cabbage. Add some melted butter, salt, and black pepper. See how you like it then. If it even remotely tastes bitter then it was overcooked.
