Why can't you vaccinate against tape worms and other relatively large parasites?
What CAN you vaccinate against?
Theoretically you should be able to vaccinate against possibly anything the immune system can be triggered against right?

You can't "vaccinate" against anyhing. "Vaccines" are an NPC meme. They're not real. Some people will be very upset to learn that Santa Claus isn't real, but that's how it is.

An actual immunologist can and should correct me, but the idea of vaccination is that after being triggered by a pathogen T cells and other similar parts of your immune system that respond to that pathogen will grow to large numbers, which allows them to kill future infections of those pathogens relatively easy. While your immune system will fight off those large parasites it never builds up a large repertoire of cells specialized in fighting against it that render you effectively immune to the effects of future infestations.

Animals can get diseases easily you idiot, and many eusocial species living in high density nests even take steps to isolate and remove the sickly from their nests. Disease spreading from colony to colony is a big deal in the animal kingdom, just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen
