Viruses don't have metabolism, they don't generate income to live. So they need to invade a host organism to replicate, basically it sneaks in and makes a bunch of anchor babies that leech of the system

Because viruses are tiny, so tiny they can slip through membranes that are designed to stop large groups like bacteria or gangs.
