What side jobs and business opportunities are there for people coming from research science?
I've worked with a bunch of chemists and biologists and all they've told me about doing is tutoring or proof reading papers. I did hear about a guy who used their qualifications and knowledge to get a job at a venture capital firm choosing which scientific companies were worth investing in.
I'm tired of having to choose to work for shekelsteins or grovel for grants.
