Has anyone in /sci/ considered the prospect of identifying as a woman, simply to further their careers?

Consider the higher acceptance rates for minorities: especially with women in electrical engineering and computer science. It would do you much good to assert that you are a woman if you were to apply to a male-dominated field; you would need a significantly lower GPA to be accepted. Women have easier times getting internships in these fields because of their minority status.

What is stopping a man in one of these fields from joining the transgender community as a ruse? With today's sexual absurdity it would be impossible to distinguish genuine gender dysphoria and deceit.
