1. 2 shapes in foreground, 1 in background
2. Foreground shapes all positioned with the upper of the two at the center of right edge of the background shape and the lower of the two at the lower left corner.
3. The numbers below the shapes are all factors or 21
4. The numbers below the shapes are all at the lower right
5. The colors of the shapes are all different
6. The upper foreground shape always fully covers the background shapes left edge (even if it is visible through the shape)
All of these are only valid for 6 and consistent with the rules you presented with the exception of 4. So at the very least it is equally likely that either is the correct answer and it depends which "pattern" the writer of the test chose to use as the discriminant. This is why well constructed tests include more than 2 examples of the pattern to allow for a more clear insight into the creators rationale
