a word of advice for robots:
my ideal combat robot would have legs ending with wheels that could be used for walking or rolling, maybe a small controlled turret on the underside. put a piloting pod on the back with screens that show the outside. give it a medium-sized large caliber gun (like a battleship turret but smaller) on top of the pilot pod that can rotate 360. lastly, give it two arms in the front that also function as heavy machine guns
bonus points if you make it partially auto-operating (like a sentient robot but it follows orders and cant think about stuff on its own)
