but that fear is making you procrastinate and is leading you to a guaranteed failure, while at least writing something will give you a less than 100% chance of total failure, plus if you write something you can always re examine it and improve while you cannot do it with a blank page.
start with the introduction, describe loosely what you are trying to explain, try to write the full paragraph without checking it, after you have done the first writing, you can reread and improve.
start with a couple of sentences, before you know if you will have completed the first paragraph, then repeat the process until you have the complete dissertation.
