Finishing my 2nd year of grad school in Biophys.
Everyone says that academic journals are only meant to be understood by those in the respective fields and that the convoluted writing techniques and huge amounts of jargon are meant to give a precise meaning and leave little interpretation of results.
But how come all the early papers from pre-1970s are so simple to understand whilst establishing the models we over complicate today?
