I remember making a comment about anarchy to my American civics teacher in 9th or 10th grade. Even tho I got As, somehow he flunked me. I had to take the class again the next next year, but different teacher. Also, the next year every elective I chose was canceled or changed, and new electives was selected for me without my permission or even informing me till I showed up for the wrong class. I was put in some experimental math class, a new way of teaching math to the kids they wanted to prove was successful. Except it was literally everything I learned the two year before so I wasn't learning anything new, but I was getting straight As. Which I'm sure looked good on the experimental math classes assessment report. Then strange rumors started appearing about me around school. Literally shunned by every person in the school, and too depressed do anything about it or talk to anyone. Honestly, I don't know how I haven't committed suicide by now. Maybe I'm just not the type.

Funny thing is I don't even believe in anarchy. It was just a dumb idea I had that the teacher misunderstood cause I'm not very good at communicating complex/deep ideas.

I'm not comfortable blog posting details of my life, especially as I've never been able to share any of this shit with anyone. So this will be the last post I make on it and I'll try keep this brief.
Highschool ended 20 years ago. I've lived the neet life since then. When rumors started circulating everyone, I mean everyone, even friends I'd known my entire life started treating me like I was going to grow up to be the next ted kaczynski.
When literally everyone you know thinks your crazy, it's hard to deny it. To do so would in itself be crazy. I started believing it myself. It's only been recent that I've realized what happened to me is what they call gas lighting. However, having realized all this in my late 30's, I highly doubt there's any hope of an academic career for me. Honestly my biggest ambitions right now are to live any kind of life where I don't end up killing myself. I hope that's not too much to hope for.

After. There was even a mysterious bomb threat at my school that didn't help either. I don't know if they ever found the person who did it, but due to my reputation at the time all the students were very scared of me after that. Nobody questioned or accused me, and due to the circumstances I couldn't have done it, but that doesn't stop people from spreading more rumors. So while everyone was too scared to talk to me, I was also scared, anxious/shy, and too depressed to try talking with anyone else and became very distanced/isolated from everyone I used to know.

Rather it was a series of unfortunate events, that staff faculty turned a blind eye to, ignored, and refused to offer support when it was obvious to everyone in school that it was needed. Simply put, I was not one of their chosen or favored children, so they let me sink or swim on my own. In this case it was sink. I don't know if there is anyone to fault in what happened. Can you fault people for inaction? Sometimes bad shit just happens.
