Solved my first topology problem in 4th grade because I was pissed off by a smart kid that later moved to a gifted program. After I solved it my parents wouldn't let me read technical stuff. I always thought it was weird, like they were hiding something from me.

Turns out I am gifted as well (140-150 range) and am highly creative. I have BPD and they didnt want negative stigma to affect me so they tried to temporarily nerf me.

I'm kinda pissed but hey, nobody starts out an experienced parent.
