Why is the chiral center from the left S?

When you use CIP priorities you should count also the other chiral center (the carbon on the right) or not?

priority 1: Cl
priority 2: bromoethyl
priority 3: methyl
1->2->3 is ccw, so it's S

using CIP then the left is S
Cl is first, then the R group, then CH3, which is anticlockwise when H is placed at the back

just to be clear Cl takes precedence over bromoethyl b/c Cl is directed bonded to the chiral center in question, whereas the bromine is not, it's one c-atom away.
