It's become a buzzword. Make "AI" uncool again.
AI/ML are distinct things that are a lot of what statisticians and data scientists do, but are not the same. All the other relevant statistical tools, methods, and knowledge are great, and I don't have a whole lot to comment on them, as I'm not a data scientist or statistician, nor do I know what I'm talking about in those fields. But the whole "AI" thing has been drastically overblown.
