The first way, you can basically ignore it and go own with your life, while slowly improving yourself, eventually you'll find that you don't feel it anymore and you are back to normal. If you try to fight it, it will only make it worse. Fighting it is like trying to forget something, you'll only make yourself remember it more. The other way is to stop fighting it and let it change you. I was fucked up for years because of it, but then I stopped fighting it and it was no longer so terrible.
