Okay so you can memorize this dumbfuck mnemonic (which isn't even true btw, some students don't take calculus) or you can apply the logic of a 6 year old and realize "oh HMMMMMM I wonder... if we're in the second quadrant since the x value is negative.. OMG I bet that means cosine is negative! omg guys!"
This is the epitome of everything that is wrong with the public education system: "Memorize this, goy! Spit out that memorized method on the test, goy! But don't bother trying to actually UNDERSTAND the stuff, just memorize it to be a good servant to the system, goy!"
