Someone explain to me the evolutionary value of having the ovaries entirely detached from the uterus and the egg cell being forced to travel along the fallopian tubes
All it does is cause ectopic pregnancies - with a chance that the egg doesn't even enter the fucking tube and gets fertilized in the abdominal cavity instead
