A lot of people really don't like GR for a mix of reasons - some because they refuse to accept there is no aether, some because they can't understand it, some because the name "relativity" and the idea that there is no object reference frame makes them think that relativity is saying "there's no such thing as objectiveness", and some because they are anti semitic and hate Einstein because of that.
They unironically believe things like "math doesn't matter for physical theories" and shit like that.
