What do you guys think about it? I’m considering pursing it. Will I be in a disadvantages situation in terms of learning environment compared to serious 4-year universities? Won’t the said universities look down on community colleges?

Go to community college for your first two years then transfer. They are criminally underrated. 20 person class sizes MAX.

This. I actually had some great teachers too.
My favorite was a former NSA analyst who wrote a book that made him enough money to retire and he taught history class just to keep himself busy during the day.

if your goal is the undergrad and then work that's fine, and smart. if your goal is PhD professor this won't work out. in math quality of classes and professors matters a lot.

you need to get into the core classes (real analysis, and algebra) as soon as possible. usually by sophomore or early junior year. community college won't prepare you for that. they just help engineers pass calculus.

This is the route everyone who wants to go to college should take. I got my AS at a community college and got accepted to transfer to an out of state honors college with a GPA of 3.2. Just make sure you don't transfer out of state because the credit requirements can change a lot and end up costing you more money and time in the end. The classes you take in your first 1-2 years aren't important enough that they require fancy 4 year accommodations.

im a transfer engineer student, and all the students that started at the university are absolute brainlets at math. and I mean shit like not knowing that the x distance on a triangle is Rcos, or not knowing the antiderivative of e^x (yes really). my mates and I love it because every class is curved super hard, so we're all getting A+'s

As you can see OP, it's a mixed bag. Unfortunately, it really depends where you live and the agreements certain community colleges have with the nearby unis. It's moreso how you study as opposed to what you study with respect to fundamentals. Reading the proofs is essential. MIT OpenCourseWare is also a good supplement.
