How do we prevent a Fisherian runaway in humanity, /sci/? It seems to me that confidence is being strongly selected above intelligence and the neuroticism that tends to follow it, regardless if that confidence also happens to be the dumb one stemming from impulsivity in many cases, and it's only a matter of time before these effects reach critical levels. This society can barely control the complex and convoluted world with its indecipherable economy right now and I can only imagine what a dumber society will do with even more complexity.
