In the sense that any solution would be "immediately" solvable + verifiable, or would it only appear that way? Is P=NP only an issue in a one-thing-at-a-time world?

Vaguely, quantum computing works by having a bunch of atoms, which are used as the transistors for the computer, be fully entangled together and then you shoot a wave at it which collapses the entangled particles to get a range of the answer. Thus only problems wherein you can physically set up the computer to perform computation in this way will actually be faster on a quantum computer. The vast majority of problems are slower on a quantum computer and most other problems are not solvable any more quickly on a quantum computer.

literally read the intro chapters of any quantum algorithms textbook and you'll have your answers, instead of forever jerking yourself off with your pop-sci understanding of the subject. even if someone like >>11567047 comes along and gives you an answer sufficiently oversimplified for you level of understanding.
