Despite that perception it's not really a math job; it's a business job. You're an excel monkey. You don't do any brain-work mathematics, you build spreadsheets.
It's just another mindnumbing office job. Some people have low ambition and this is all they want out of life, and those people are well-suited to it. If you care about being engaged with your work you will want to kill yourself.
