Is good spatial ability much rarer than good verbal?

Is that why many people who claim 130IQ+ sound pretty plain, uninnovative, unoriginal, and pseud like?

Why do we even give verbal abilities and memory this much weight when calculating IQ? Won't it be more effective to weight spatial abilities more for predicting future talents?

Verbal intelligence only predict good sucsess by midwits standards (average academic sucsess), High spatial abilities very highly correlate with geniuses, This is the thing that literally give you deeper reasoning abilities and see patterns nobody sees, High verbal IQ mediocre spatial IQ people never reach deeper understanding of things.

The gigantic gap between women and men innovations is likely because in addition to women having less extremes they have 15-20% weaker spatial abilities on average.

east asians have high spatial ability and relatively low verbal and win very very nobel prizes/innovate far less often as a result, verbal ability is much more strongly correlated with capacity for high level abstract thinking

Also asians have spread narrower on the bell curve, meaning there are much less exceptions.

A good example of this is Tesla. The guy would imagine his AC motor design and refine it in his head before building a prototype that worked first time. He was smart enough to simulate the motor mentally and he could even "see" issues in the design before it even existed.

I have a huge gap between both and I'd trade spatial intelligence for verbal any time. Your education most likely wont consist of playing with matrices and rubik's cubes in classes, and you cant accomplish much without education.

I am but I only started. It seems to me that the parts that benefit from good understanding from a "spatial intelligence" side do so only marginally. Seriously, my linear algebra class accepts answers like "the answer is 4 bc theres 4 pivot columns :))" why bother learning the subject properly and give a real answer when you can just regurgitate crap and play it safe

There's a reason that most math/physics innovations and theories came from 20-45 years old guys, Because spatial intelligence decrease with age in opposite to verbal.

I guess so. But I feel like the limiting aspect in most cases would be the verbal intelligence. Maybe I'm wrong, but a 120 score in spatial intelligence which isnt that good seem more than enough to me to carry someone through undergraduate classes. And maybe even graduate ones from what I've seen in people who did graduate studies in STEM.

On the other hand, I think a 120 in verbal would not be enough to excel in most undergraduate classes, and it would be especially crippling for graduate stuff. I could be wrong, obviously. But high spatial intelligence just seems to me like an open door for better understanding. Verbal one would get you to actually put that understanding to good use.
