Advanced modern society has a casual connection to skin color. The lighter the skin, the more likely a society is to be advanced. The darker the skin, the more likely it is to conform to older human habits. So it's likely that non-whites are more alpha dominated, which means less of the male population gets to reproduce. In lighter skin societies, betas have a better change of reproduction.
This are general trends so they don't apply absolutely across all cultures and societies. Certainly recent changes in light skinned society over the past half century may have pushed alpha reproductive traits back to the front though birth control is keeping them from spreading into the next generation.
