>>11563351They certainly add things to it. Things that make it easier to smoke, things that make it burn at just the right rate, things that'll make you crave it even more. If you want a comparison, try smoking whatever it is you'd normally smoke, then try smoking an American Spirit. AFAIK, American Spirits are just pure tobacco with no additives, and it's noticeable. The cigs burn much slower, they don't always drag as smoothly, and personally I don't find the smoke as satisfying. Perhaps that's only because I'm too used to all the additives found in other cigs. Sorta wish I started out smoking pure tobacco so I'd never know any better.
