Got a Ph.D offer in corona times. All i would do is to analyse data related to drug addiction.

Should i accept this offer? I am very happy with my current job, though. How important is a Ph.D for my career?

A normal PhD track is ironclad guaranteed funding for 4-6 years depending on the school. The stipend, however, is not very high. You can fuck a lot of girls without doing any real work, and while breaking even on cash, through the worst years of the Corona epidemic if you want.
