What if our world is just a gameplay option in some interdimensional videogame?

>open the menu of "experiencies" you want to play
>the Human Experience

>you live with others individuals(NPCs) that share the same body structure/systems as you, with little variation
>all the individuals as a whole(society) is focused on propagating genes, this is the fundamental motivator of every individual
>as a result of this, everyone is really agressive and competitive, while pretending they aren't
>you need to satisfy sims-like little bars or else you die/get miserable, ex. hunger, thirst, heat, social interaction, etc
>theres this concept of "age" where you are constantly having all your systems deteriorating, you never really learn how to cope with this
>your main system that lets you experience the environment and make decisions is kinda faulty, it constantly works against what you rationaly want and try to bring you down to the level of animals(the individuals that are mostly filler/fluff for the environment) and satisfy the little bars
>it also is designed to seek meaning in life, but never be able to really find it(this is hardcoded)

Its probably in the "hardcore modes" category.
