Why does the universe form these tendrils? Are they a result of some gravitational field equations, maybe even pull from all directions preventing collapse? I would expect the universe would look more like a spiral or a orb of mass, due to normal gravity assumptions. Are these higher order toruses? Why the jagged edges? Could radiation force be playing a role too, like acting as solar sails from massive dumps of star energy?
