I know why light reflects on conductors (materials with J=gamma.E), it's just Maxwell + boundary conditions and everything is ok, but why and how does light bounce off things that are conductors so that we can see them, and why doesn't that work with transparent materials? That's probably a stupid question but I quit physics a few years ago and I never got that. Thanks
