There are also some things to be said about the preparedness of the CDC, however that's a longstanding issue. The timely travel bans and willingness to work across the isle on stimulus are the biggest positives of his response. Given that the Democrat response to the Trump travel ban was to call him a racist, it's pretty clear they would have had coofers flying in until the beginning of March. The willingness to directly give money to citizens, extend unemployment benefits, freeze foreclosures/evictions, etc is also evidence that he was willing to put politics aside to help keep people solvent. The fact that everyone except for SK, Singapore, and Japan got fucked by this suggests that there isn't some fatal flaw Trump made that caused it to spread, you shills are just latching on to whatever talking points you can in the hopes of improving the dismal chances of your senile establishment stooge to win in the fall.
The only thing to blame here is the Chinese government. They lied about the disease and pressured the WHO to stay silent on it until the end of January. They declared person-to-person transmission on January 22nd. China was aware that this was the case at least a month in advance. They've also resisted any external investigations into the source of the virus and continue to lie about their numbers. The most important thing we can take away from this tragedy is to produce all critical equipment domestically and to counteract Chinese manipulation of organizations like the WHO.
