smart women in stem might have higher rates of x chromosome homozygosity, so extreme variants associated with higher IQ are expressed, i have a feeling this is related to unattractiveness as well. poorer health and poorer looks due to less of an "averaging" effect from lacking two x's, which would have otherwise provided more genetic diversity
