Can psychopaths/ sociopaths/ people with APD be rehabilitated or should we just let them be and ignore them?

What about pedos? Can we rehabilitate them too while we're at it? OP, it may depend. Most of ASPD people have been abused as children, so there's a chance for rehabilitation. Other than that, nope.

Well most of them don't actually end up killing or injuring some. They probably cause a lot of emotional pain and chaos through their lives. But you can't start policing people just because "they're mean". That's the pathway to totalitarianism, which come to think of it a lot of countries are already going there. we have to punish people. we shouldn't start to think certain behaviours or ways of thinking are acceptable simply because we understand its origin, even if it is not the fault of the perpetrator. case in point - a pedo who was abused himself as a child. he's a victim and should be treated as one, but he's also a monstrous criminal and should be treat as that too.
