In highschool, I failed Physics class twice, so I need some help with this question that's on my mind:
If a diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination, which weighs 35,000 pounds averages 7.2 miles per gallon, why aren't there any diesel-powered passenger vehicles (weighing 1/10th the weight of the tractor trailer) that average 72 miles per gallon?
Physics, am I right?
