This is probably a result of advertising campaigns creating “hype” for this product which has effectively brainwashed these poor geezers into believing that they should be excited about their particular commodity.
They are unable to make relative value judgements on what is necessary in their life, hence they are usually not physically fit or attractive. This again is only due to an over-bombardment of advertising which stimulates certain responses from these peoples and renders their lives disorderly.
This face is also reminiscent of the types of faces used on advertising on boxes and television for children’s toys and games.
In short, it’s the fault of advertising keeping these poor geezers in a state of childhood
