How did China manage to stop coronavirus completely while none of the so-call powers of the west can manage to? Only Hungary & Poland seemed to have had any success amongst the sophisticated western world. What did China, Hungary & Poland do differently that other nations didn't?

The latter two did nothing. Some areas in the West have haven't been significantly affected, probably because they're not major travel destinations. China took extreme measures, and is also lying about their numbers. Look to China's neighbors if you want to see how to handle a pandemic.

None in the West have even come close to the level of quarantine that China implemented for particular regions and duration. That's not to say China lied with its official numbers but the measures they put into place probably were effective considering how draconian they were in practice and well enforced. Here in the UK under social isolation policies we still see shitheads trying to go down B roads to get around police blocks and going out to enjoy the weather. In China the populace did none of that because the consequences of getting caught would be/are so severe. The West just doens't have the balls to enforce that level of policy nor the compliance of the general public to see it happen. The great state surveillance of China also came into play here and I doubt the West wants to reveal its own cards when it comes to social monitoring.
