I don't know about you, but when I look at them its very apparant that they are collections of real objects that have been distorted for a disorientating effect. The more I look at each image, the more I can work out what some of the original objects are, and what has been done to distort them. When you stare for a long time and cannot work out what a certain object is/was, then it becomes a little frustrating. But not in the 'noo my brain is collapsing' way. More like trying read something really far away and juuust not being able to make it out.
