>Gut feelingI'm not suggesting that we react to our gut feeling of what might happen. We should react to our observations of what is actually happening. If it were an asteroid or some system where models have proven very accuracte, we should base our decisions on those models. If it's a system with many unknown variables interacting in complex ways which are poorly understood, we should only base our decisions on what is known, not on computer models or gut feelings.
