I see ants getting along and even cooperating to a mind-boggling degree. I see lions and their ilk getting along and chilling. I see plankton and schools of salmon just doing their thing and co-existing harmoniously inside their respective species and outside, giving up their lives graciously for the greater good of the ecosystem knowing that to be eaten is to simply assume a different form. I even see fucking chimapanzees (no, I'm not even going to play the bonobo card) getting along for the most part; I mean yeah they can certainly get aggressive and war-like sometimes but jesus CHRIST...The intraspecies spite and hatred and nastiness that humans display towards one another is fucking unrivaled across all animal kingdoms bar mother fucking none - mother fucking none!

I'm not even going to elaborate further because I think I'm preaching to the choir here when I say: HUMANS ARE FUCKING DICKS TO ONE ANOTHER (and yet they'll coddle and uwu the shit out of a fucking dog)

I am not here to ask IF it is the case that people suck (because they do, and, like I said, you already know that), I'm here to ask WHY people suck, /sci/. Why does it seem like every other species on Earth exists not only harmoniously within their own species, but also outside of it with others but we fucking don't? Literally what's our fucking problem?
