What is actually happening, and what really explains the movements of continents, is that the earth is slowly expanding and growing larger (so are all the other planets in the universe) the theory of the slow expansion of the earth completely and accurately pinpoints the location of continents based on time and explains how they have been moving apart based on math and geography.
