>>11550848Ironic, I was happy to go to Southampton having tried studying at KCL. You've got this, just put in the work and you should be able to get in. I've known people from Soton who got into Oxford, so you can definitely get in as long as you actually get decent grades. If you're too much of a brainlet to do that, honestly you're just gonna have a shitty time at a "good" university with the constant work, pressure and catching up.
>>11550855They're different kinds of shitholes. Southampton is a student town with absolutely nothing special about it and drugs are prevalent everywhere. London is a massive town that's constantly crowded, every pub/club is stupidly expensive and usually quite far away and you usually don't get the experience of being a carefree student because you're primarily a Londoner who has to live by London's rules.
