You know most people here are gonna say it's a meme. But Ayurveda medicines have really helped me and many family with common illnesses in the past

It is proto-medicine. There may be some truth behind some of its methods and practices, but not enough to consider it a valuable branch of healthcare.

Traditional medicines, if they worked at all, probably would work better on the people whose tradition developed it
This is why milk is usually considered bad in Chinese medicine, but good in Ayurvedic medicince
