For example, even something as simple as free groups has little to no worked examples from slightly more nontrivial problems in Artin because it's the strategy is always the same. You find a surjective homomorphism and use correspondence / first isomorphism theorem to mod out by the smallest normal subgroup containing your relations. The problem is
1) so tedious
2) anything more than a single relation ends up introducing insanely long derivation
2) generally long winded applications of the tricks to write proceed by conjugation and inverses until you massage out the form in the normal subgroup
