We don't even know shit about our galaxy and what's in it to the fullest, let alone getting humans to visit the moon again since 1969. Hell, we know shit of what's in our oceans. Maybe our species dies out before even having another taste of what's out there.
Not to mention the theory of alternative realities. What if there's not only infinite realities, but on those infinite realities there would be infinite planes. Something along layers of a material realm. The closer the source of it, the more astral and less materialistic. The further out, the more rough/materialistic laws of physics.
