This is a loaded question that mixes both biology, psychology, and sociology with probably some philosophy in there. Your best bet would be to look into each of these questions, think up better ones then these, look into those, compare studys, research historical parallels, and it you really want to know do some personal questioning of of all possible parties that would be linked to these questions.
